We only collect the data you give us yourself when you place an order or make a request, for example via the request form on the website, via WhatsApp or by email:

- your phone number (if provided);
- your email address (if provided);
- your town or delivery address (if provided, needed for delivery);
- the content of your message, order or request, including any allergy notes you choose to share.
We never collect more data than we need to handle your order or request.
Why we use your data
We use your personal data only to:
- process, confirm and deliver your order;
- answer your request or question and contact you about it;
- create and keep invoices for our administration, as required by law.

- To carry out and deliver your order: performance of the contract we enter into with you.

Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. We only share it where necessary for the purposes above, with:
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms: if you order or contact us via WhatsApp, your message goes through WhatsApp, which may process data outside the European Economic Area under Meta’s terms and safeguards.
- Our accounting software (e-Boekhouden): to process and store invoices.
- A delivery or occasional helper: only the data needed to deliver your order.
- Our website host: which makes the website technically possible.
Beyond this, we only share data with third parties when legally required to do so.
How long we keep your data
- Invoices and administrative data are kept for 7 years, as required by the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst).
- Messages and requests that do not lead to an invoice are kept no longer than needed to handle your question, and are deleted afterwards.
How we protect your data
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorised access. Only the owner of Suikerbekkie Keuken has access to your data.
Cookies
Our website currently places no tracking or analytics cookies. We only use functional storage in your browser needed to make the site work (for example remembering your basket and language choice). No consent is required for this. Should we use analytics cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data: access, rectification, erasure (where we are not legally required to keep the data), objection to processing, data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
